I am using a Toshiba Satellite A80 and i am looking for interested sellers of additional Mb of RAM hardware. Flexibility and durability of this brand is on above average based on my usage. If I just maximize the memory, I think this is one of the most reliable laptops. But the disadvantage of this notebook, is that the fan and built in speakers are not on their highest. My speakers have given up so sudden that i can only hear a "hiss" sound. So I advice to buyers of slightly used laptop, that if you are onto durability, go for Toshiba Satellite A80. There's a new NVIDIA GeForce driver out on the loose and it's in fact the first series 190 driver ever. This is Forceware 190.15 The driver is available for Windows Vista 32- and 64-bit and for Windows XP a 32-bit flavor is available.

Very little is known about this driver but we need to stress that the original .inf file shows it was targeted at Quadro cards. We replaced the index with a modified .inf files (courtesy of laptopvideo2go) making the driver compatible with all current GeForce cards..

Interesting is that the Vista / Win 7 drivers also contact 3D Stereo drivers revision 190.15, look inside the archive to spot that yourself.

These drivers are to be considered very beta and thus treated as such. You install them at your own risk, don't complain to us or NVIDIA if they do not work out for you. We have a discussion thread open on these drivers right here.

MISSION CRITICAL and totally secure Apple software is apparently vulnerable to two new viruses.

According to Sophos, Apple malware is like London buses, you wait for ages for one to pop up and then two show up at the same time.

SophosLabs has found a Macintosh Worm with text inside it saying: "RESPECT about what are you talking about me (cybercriminal..) Don't say what you ignore !!!!!!!!"

The syntax is familar, but we are sure that Drashek has an alibi.

Graham Cluely apparently found a another new piece of malware called OSX/Jahlav-C on a site which was offering hard core porn. Not that he visited the site himself; he saw it on a ParetoLogic blog and probably didn't visit the site to check.

OSX/Jahlav-C is an update to previous versions of Jahlav and will eventually run a Perl script that "uses http to communicate with a remote website and download code supplied by the attacker," says Cluely.

Prey - software that will track and find your laptop if it ever gets stolen

Description: Prey helps you find your stolen laptop by sending timed reports to your email with a bunch of information of its whereabouts. This includes the general status of the computer, a list of running programs and active connections, fully-detailed network and wifi information, a screenshot of the running desktop and — in case your laptop has an integrated webcam — a picture of the thief.

Prey can use a web URL to check if it should generate and send the report, so you have a way of alerting remotely the program whenever your laptop disappears. It can (and should) be run as root so it doesn’t depend on an active user session to run, but only on a succesful boot.

You may be thinking “but what’s the point of this program if the guy will probably just format the thing right away?” and you’re completely right. When Microsoft's new search engine Bing debuted last week, some received a surprise. Turning off "safe search" they began to notice pornographic videos popping up as search results – which is really nothing new to users of Google’s video search.

However, simply moving your mouse over the videos would set them to motion, complete with sound. Some expressed outrage; Microsoft, meanwhile, has defended its actions according to InformationWeek. Bing general manager Mike Nichols says that by default Bing is set to "strict" SafeSearch, which he says is a more conservative approach than Google or Yahoo’ take.

He writes, "This is a bit more of a conservative approach than others in the industry. If you set SafeSearch to strict, you will not see any explicit text, image, or video content. If you turn SafeSearch off, which requires you to change the setting and then click again to acknowledge that you are over 18, then explicit content may appear."

New Build of Firefox 3.5 RC1

New build of Firefox 3.5 RC1 on nightly section of Mozilla's public ftp server (Firefox 3.5 "Beta 99"). Just some minor bug fixes and stability stuff are included in it. There are new features included actually the review says it features a new faster java script engine and private browsing mode and final release will be by the end of the month.

Asus will be releasing boards with new DTS Surround Sensation UltraPC Technology which will allow users to experience high definition audio content on there PC minus the cost. Users will now be able to experience virtual 5.1 channel audio without additional costly hardware like a new soundcard which are utterly expensive if you are a hardcore gamer.

A cool new cooler from Tuniq boasting 5 U-shaped heatpipes and and a fan that comes with a controller included with it, and well there are no benchmarks yet from what i've read on guru3d. I think the cooler has only just been released so no reviews yet even tried searching on google and nothings came out.

Ok. Heres one new product from XFX and it's not a new Nvidia Geforce release but a new PSU unit and it's they're very first release of a product like this and judging from the design it would look really good on a high end system build. About the specifications it has a single 12v rail that can deliver 850w of power up to 50c of operating temperatures and it's cooled by a nice looking green 135mm ball bearing fan that insures its long life of operation (yeah...the fan looks really cool and you don't see a green fan on a PSU every day you know :D ).

But hey, there as good as official ones or maybe better.

This driver supports all of the new GPU-accelerated DirectX APIs in Windows 7: DirectX Compute, Direct2D, DirectWrite, and DXVA-HD.

New in Release 186.08

* Numerous bug fixes. More information can be found in the release documentation.
* Installs the new PhysX System Software version 9.09.0428.
* Users without US English operating systems can select their language and download the International driver here.

New in Release 185/186 drivers:

* Adds support for Ambient Occlusion – the newest NVIDIA Control Panel feature to offer enhanced 3D gaming realism exclusively to GeForce GPUs.

I don't know AMD sells dual-cores with 4 processors?

Well that's new maybe not to other people but apparently to me. AMD ships dual-core processors and also tri-core that can be upgraded to a quad core by a bios update, but lately due to some cores that don't work properly AMD released a microcode (i think much like of a script or something) for newly released BIOS version of certain boards like Gigabyte . Btw did i mention gigabyte has a dual bios option (oh yeah i didn't) so you can use both the old bios that unlocks your AMD processor and the one with the...well the one with the microcode (just who would want a processor without an unlock core? Well certainly not me).

Wow i think i saw a ferrari on an HD4890 GPU what?

Asus graphics cards with aerodynamic design i don't know if aerodynamic or not but by the looks of it i think it's more like a race car an F1 maybe just kidding. Wonder how well this things perform but i give them an A for the looks or probably for the silver cooler design.

Wow what can i say new boards from gigabyte which supports Intel core i5 cpu's heard these babies overclock up to 5ghz on air with only a TRUE heatsink on par with it. Mmmm.... 5ghz what a tasty treat :D

Hi this is my first post in my blog so hello and sorry for the grammar and poor writing anyway im gonna be making blog about hardware updates and stuff so hope you all like it.
